In this live, one-day Linkedin training course in Brisbane we step you through using Linkedin for marketing and personal branding. It’s a practical, hands-on class. BYO laptop and we’ll get stuck in.

There’s now 6 million Australians on Linkedin. Few are using it to its full potential. Very few have figured out how this platform can be used effectively for marketing (to find new business) or for their careers (to find work or simply boost their online reputation.) In this workshop, we’ll teach you how.

What you’ll learn in our Linkedin training

Important strategic aspects of Linkedin:

Credibility – how to build it on Linkedin
Thought leadership – its role on Linkedin
Visibility – how to be found on Linkedin
Leads – how to find sales/work leads and reach out

How to make the most of features including:

Profile – what to write and how to write it
Connections – who to connect with, the right way to do it
Groups – which to join and how to interact in them
Recommendations – how to ask for and write recommendations
Companies – how to get the most out of business pages
Search – how to use Linkedin search to find sales/work leads
Publishing – what to write and how to do it

How we teach the course

This is mainly a hands-on session with you working on your laptop. We get you thinking, writing and using key features. And we go through best practice examples and principles.

The Linkedin course is also available for corporate / in-house training.

Meet your instructor

Phil Stubbs

Linkedin Trainer & Founder

Phil has run this Linkedin training in-house for corporate clients such as Fitness First and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff. He’s also had attendees from organisations such as the NRMA and QANTAS.

Phil is a strategic thinker who’s worked in advertising agencies, including The Campaign Palace. He’s taught advertising and digital media at universities, including the Uni of Western Sydney. At UWS he won the Vice Chancellor’s award for his work with social media.

Originally from Brisbane, Phil is a Commerce graduate of the University of Queensland.

He was an early adopter of Linkedin in 2008. Since then he’s built a network of 2000 connections. He’s used Linkedin to build a reputation, pick up sales leads, sell services, test ideas, find partners and promote causes. Read more.
